His “I Told Them” tour has grossed an impressive $15.5 million from 15 shows, with revenue from six more concerts yet to be reported.
The tour, which kicked off in February 2024, has seen Burna Boy perform to sold-out crowds across the United States and Canada.
The singer’s impressive performances have earned him a whopping $5.7 million from six shows in Canada, the highest for an African artist.
One of the highlights of the tour was Burna Boy’s concert at the Capital One Arena in Washington on March 7, 2024, which grossed $1.725 million, setting the record for the highest-grossing arena concert by an African artist in the United States.
Another notable achievement was his concert at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood on March 12, which had an average ticket price of $172.76, making it the most expensive concert by an African artist in history.
Burna Boy’s success didn’t stop there. He became the first African artist to headline and sell out the 19,000-capacity Scotia Bank Arena in Canada on February 24 and 25, 2024.
This achievement is a testament to Burna Boy’s hard work and dedication to his craft.
Earlier in the year, he made history by becoming the first African artist to perform at the Grammy main ceremony.
Burna Boy’s “I Told Them” tour is a celebration of his Grammy-winning album “Twice As Tall” and features hits like “Anybody,” “Onyeka,” and “Real Life.”
With this record-breaking tour, Burna Boy has cemented his position as one of the most successful African artists of all time, inspiring a new generation of musicians and fans alike.
