Six Arrested in Abuja for SIM Card Racketeering and Sale to Criminals

 

The Nigeria Police Force has arrested six suspects in Abuja, the capital city, for their involvement in SIM card racketeering and the sale of registered SIM cards to criminals. 

 
The arrests were made following an intelligence-led operation by the police.
 
The suspects, who were identified as Precious Okoye, Emmanuel Udofia, Francis Uzor, Jane Onyeka, Henry Nwosu, and Chukwuma Okoro, were found to be involved in the illegal sale of SIM cards, which were registered with stolen identities.
