A devastating incident has occurred at Elegushi Beach, Lagos, where a 30-year-old man named Samuel drowned during a prayer session with his friends.
The Lagos Police Command has confirmed the incident, and divers are currently working to recover the body.
According to eyewitnesses, Samuel and his friends had arrived at the beach at midnight on Tuesday for a prayer session.
The incident happened at around 4:00 a.m. when Samuel slipped into the water and failed to resurface. Despite efforts to rescue him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
