China Announces Visa-Free Entry for Citizens of Six European Countries

In a move to strengthen diplomatic ties and boost tourism, China has announced visa-free entry for citizens of six European countries, including Luxembourg, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, and Belgium.

This policy decision was revealed by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi at a press conference during the National People’s Congress meeting in Beijing.

According to reports, the new policy is a trial and is expected to further enhance cultural exchange, tourism, and business travel between China and the six European countries.

Eligible citizens will be allowed to stay in China for up to 15 days without a visa, providing they meet certain requirements, such as holding a valid passport and proof of onward travel.

This move is seen as a reciprocal gesture, as all six European countries currently offer visa-free entry to Chinese citizens.

The policy change is expected to attract more European tourists and business travelers to China, boosting the country’s tourism industry and economic growth.

The announcement has been welcomed by travel industry experts and diplomats, who see it as a significant step forward in strengthening China-Europe relations.

With this new policy, China is expected to become a more attractive destination for European travelers, and the move is likely to further cement China’s position as a key player in global tourism and business.
