Nigerian singer and songwriter Bankole Wellington (Banky W) has been on a long and challenging journey with skin cancer, but his latest announcement brings joy and inspiration to many.
After undergoing his fourth surgery, he has triumphantly declared his victory over the disease in a video where he also shows appreciations to his Wife, Family, Friends and Medical experts.
Banky W’s skin cancer diagnosis dates back to 2010, when he was first treated for a rare strain of the disease. Unfortunately, the cancer resurfaced in 2017, requiring additional surgeries and treatments. Throughout his journey, he has faced multiple surgeries, including three previous ones in 2017, 2018, and 2020.
Throughout his cancer battle, Banky W has credited his faith in God for his strength and resilience. He has openly shared his testimony, encouraging others facing challenges to hold on to hope and trust in God’s goodness.
Banky W’s successful treatment is also a testament to the expertise and care of his medical team. He has expressed gratitude to his doctors, Dr. Onyewu and Dr. Adenuga, for their exceptional care and skill.
Their dedication and knowledge played a significant role in his triumphant outcome.
