Adams Oshiomole Slams Religious Exploration

Proverty Not Solved by Faith Alone”

In a viral Video circulating on media, former Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomole has criticized the way religion is often used to exploit vulnerable individuals.

He expressed his disappointment with religious leaders who promise their followers that believing in Jesus Christ will automatically deliver them from poverty, calling it a lie.

Oshiomole’s statement highlights the growing concern about the exploitation of people’s faith for personal gain.

He noted that many individuals are using religion as a cover to run their businesses, disguising themselves as pastors.

This phenomenon has led to a proliferation of churches and religious centers, where people are promised prosperity and salvation in exchange for their hard-earned money.

The former governor’s words resonate with many who have witnessed the exploitation of religion firsthand. “I see them every day,” he said, referring to the countless individuals who have been duped into believing that faith alone can solve their problems.

His words:

“I do think that religion has been added to our burden of problems. When people preach that when you believe in our lord Jesus Christ he will deliver you from poverty that’s a lie! we know it and I see them everyday and I think I found out that people are setting up business centers and they cover themselves up that their pastors”

Oshiomole’s statement is a call to action, urging people to be aware of the manipulation and exploitation that often masquerades as religion.

He emphasizes that poverty and other societal problems require tangible solutions, not just faith.

In a country where religion plays a significant role in many people’s lives, Oshiomole’s words are a timely reminder that we must be critical of those who use faith to exploit and manipulate others.

His statement has sparked a much-needed conversation about the role of religion in our society and the need for accountability and transparency.
